The Model 1 IWB holster is a versatile non light-bearing Inside the Waist Band holster that can worn in a wide range of positions, from the appendix position all the way to the 4 o’clock position. It shares similarities with our dedicated appendix holster (Model 2 AIWB holster) except for the absence of body contouring. For those who enjoy switching between carry positions, the Model 1 IWB is an excellent choice. However, if you primarily carry in the appendix position, we strongly suggest trying our Model 2 AIWB holster.

Note:
The Vanta 9 is not compatible with holsters designed for the Staccato 2011 due to dimensional differences, which result in poor retention and excessive slide finish wear. While the Vanta 9 can be forced into Staccato 2011 holsters, it is not securely retained. Retention occurs only through friction against the slide rather than proper holster lockup, leading to accelerated wear of the slide finish. The wider slide and dust cover of the Vanta 9 are the primary causes of this poor fit.
