It features an integrated thumb ledge for enhanced draw control, an open-bottom design that sheds debris and spent shells while accommodating threaded barrels, and fully adjustable retention.
The Model 6 OWB Quick Detach Light Bearing is specifically engineered to accommodate popular weapon lights, allowing you to carry your firearm with a mounted light securely and confidently. The muzzle is slightly extended to help shield and protect the weapon light’s glass lens from impact and debris, while still retaining an open-muzzle design for drainage and compatibility with extended or threaded barrels. This balance preserves versatility while adding critical protection for duty or defensive use.
The Model 6 OWB Quick Detach Light Bearing is natively compatible with popular mounting systems from Safariland, G-Code, and Blade-Tech Tek-Mount, eliminating the need for an adapter plate when switching between platforms. This broad compatibility ensures the holster remains versatile, adaptable, and future-proof.
When paired with the Blade-Tech Tek-Mount system, the holster maintains its quick-detach functionality while also allowing for on-the-fly cant adjustment.
The Model 6 OWB Quick Detach Light Bearing comes standard with the Work/Duty profile. This configuration includes a high-cut sight channel that fully encloses the chamber area, providing increased protection against dirt, debris, and environmental contaminants. It is recommended for duty or work environments where exposure to dust or debris is likely.
Select models also offer an optional Competition profile. This lower-cut design intentionally leaves the chamber exposed, allowing the firearm to clear the holster more quickly for a faster draw. The trade-off is reduced chamber protection, making it more susceptible to dirt and debris intrusion.
If the Competition profile is available for a particular model, it will appear as an option in the configuration menu.
Note on Kydex Thickness:
Our OWB holsters made with solid-color Kydex (such as Black, Gray, FDE, etc.) are produced using 0.093" material. Patterned or specialty Kydex options (such as topographic designs, camo, Kryptek, and similar styles) are available only in 0.080" thickness.
